We had the most delightful evening. Marie took care of us with plenty of hot tea before the show.

We went to the Overlook the day after Valentine's Day. We happened to get a no-show's reservation. So, No wait! We ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and added the grilled shrimp. It was AMAZING!!!!!! I expected this to be mediocre, but it was much better than I expected. Soo creamy and flavorful! We also ordered the grilled chicken w/bacon sandwich with fries which was good! We also ordered the drink: Siesta and it was nice and STRONG! Our waitress was Maria, and she was Awesome! Very attentive, so kind and a great personality! Ask for her! I would definitely come back. The dining room isn't all that big, however, I personally prefer a smaller setting. With that being said, make a reservation!

Came here for the Valentines dinner and we loved it! Its on the 2nd floor of the downtown raleigh residence inn. Turn right around the corner after getting off the elevator or make a left after getting to the 2nd floor through the stairs. Also, make sure you're not standing in front of the employee elevator. (Don't ask me how I know) The risotto was a tad salty but the salmon bites were great! We didn't like the eel sauce the mayo was great! I personally enjoyed both salads but my wife didn't like the strawberry salad due to the basilica vinegar being too sour. The Mahi Mahi was good and the lamb lollipop was also great with the mint jelly. Caution, sample the mint jelly before you go all out since you may not like it. The red velvet cake and the chocolate torte were both good but the red velvet is so moist and delicious you could probably just go with two of those and be happy!!!! Definitely give it a try!

Had a wonderful dinner. Chef Johnny was fantastic at helping me navigate the menu based on my food allergies. He was very knowledgeable and extremely kind! He definitely made the dinner special!

Had a relaxing night at the overlook with my work fam! Marie was our FABULOUS server… very attentive & friendly.. and Jamie makes a delicious espresso martini! If you’re in downtown Raleigh, don’t forget to stop by for a yummy cocktail!

Wonderful experience, we had dinner before attending The Nutcracker Ballet. Perfect location and the holiday atmosphere added a nice touch. Hailey was awesome and so attentive. The salmon was perfect, and the Caprese Flatbread was the perfect start to our dinner.

Johnny the chef and Devynn our bartender gave exceptional service and the food was out of sight!! Great experience throughout the meal couldn’t be happier. Definitely coming back

We appreciated the large assortment of breakfast items on the buffet - both adult and kid friendly. Bree on the waitstaff was amazing! She was so friendly and helped find gluten-friendly items for my young daughter. Dinner - staff was friendly and food was good; however, $10 for a very small chocolate torte seemed unreasonably high.
